"Talks of Opportunity"

The Salon Planning Committee would like to extend an invitation to all members to be on the lookout for speakers who might be appropriate for a Jefferson Center presentation. While we often have our monthly Salon scheduled several months in advance we don't want to miss out on the opportunity to hear from a speaker who might be passing through town at any given time. We feel there is talent passing though our area all the time so if you are aware of someone please let us know. We are especially interested in topics of current events. We would call these "Talks of Opportunity" which could be scheduled on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening perhaps only a week or so in advance and would announce them on the website and though email as well. Please feel free to give feedback about this possibility either on this forum or by contacting Diana Spade, Chairperson for the Salon Planning Committee.
